Laney Landry has been fighting Deads alongside her brother and friends for three years. But she has a secret. She's immune to Dead bites and has to find the right people to trust with the information. Her team rallies around her to find a doctor who can extract a vaccine from Laney which could fight the virus that ended the world.

Sean Daniels leads a colony that provides her team with much needed shelter and supplies. He is obviously interested in Laney. The question is whether he's only intrigued by her as a source for the possible vaccine, or for something more. Tests for the cure might push her body beyond what it can endure, and just as she faces a ghost from her past, her longtime teammate Derek Mitchell hints at an interest in more than just her Dead slaying abilities.

Two honorable and alluring men - one colossal decision to make. Despite historically bad taste in men, can she rise above the chaos of the apocalypse and choose the one who deserves her heart? The right choice could mean the difference between surviving...and living.

About the Author
Born and raised in small town Texas, Tera Shanley grew up in books. Her cousin gifted her a signed copy of Beauty by Bill Wallace when she was young and that was it for her. So smitten was she with getting lost in a story, that while other eleven year olds her age were groaning at the accelerated reader program in school, she was racking up the points just for fun.

Balancing chronic book-wormyness is her devotion to the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, camping - her soul is happiest out of doors. And lucky for Tera, her family feels the same. She grew up a wild child helping her grandma ranch cattle, and has a hundred memories out in the wilderness which tend to influence her books.

When she's not eating chocolate, slinging rifles, or soaking up some sun, she's lost in a book, but these days it's more often one she's writing. From historic western romance, to paranormal romance, to apocalyptic (zombie) romance, the genre doesn't matter quite as much to her as the love story.

She currently lives with her husband and two young children, and is owned by two crazy mini-cujos.

Review of The Beck Brothers Series by Andria Large

The Beck Brothers Series by Andria Large is an awesome series about 4 incredibly HOT brothers! Each book has alternating POVs of the two main characters the book is about, but each book also throws in the POV of one of the brothers making the segue into the next book perfect! I absolutely loved this aspect of Andria’s writing.

Book 1 is about Henry, a powerful CEO of an advertising agency. He needs a new personal assistant and HR ends up hiring a beautiful single mother, Claire Russell. This book just made me feel good and I think I had a smile on my face most of the time. Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely unexpected events that you don’t know how they will turn out, but it was fun seeing them try to deny their attraction and the way Henry treats her son makes him swoon worthy!

Henry is currently on sale for $.99 on Amazon! http://www.amazon.com/Henry

Book 2 is about Sebastian, a tattooed gunsmith whose wife cheated on him and divorced him. He swore he would never let another woman get close enough to hurt him.  After having to protect his nephews with deadly force, he has to work with someone he never expected to see again after having an interesting first encounter a year ago, Detective Raelynn Reynolds.  There is chemistry between them but they both know they can’t act on it. Will that connection be too much to ignore so they break the rules to be together or will other circumstances keep them apart? You’ll have to read to find out! ;)

Book 3 is about Quinn, a successful architect who likes to work in peace and quiet and is a man of few words.  Quinn doesn't like anyone touching him due to a traumatizing event that happened 20 years ago.  His boss brings in bubbly French architect Margot Leclair.  He is forced to share his office and his biggest project with her, but Margot drives him crazy.  After a year of working together, they are sent to London for a conference. When Quinn has to save Margot from a scary incident, they cut their trip short but then a death in Margot’s family shortly after returning from London sends her back to France.  Quinn insists he go with her because he knows she doesn't have anyone close to her that cares about her.  If he’s honest with himself, he knows he really cares about her, but will his secret from the past keep him from getting too close?

Book 4 is about Christian, the artistic brother who also happens to be gay even though his family doesn't know.  I wasn't sure about reading my first guy/guy book, but by the time you get to the fourth book, you are already in love with all of the characters and I've gotta say, it was HOT, HOT, HOT!!! If you’re like me, after reading so many books with descriptive sex scenes, it all just becomes a little humdrum, but this will get your engine revving! ;)  I don’t want to give away who his relationship is with but it is a true testament to love and friendship. There are major events that happen that keep you turning that page.  This final book in the series nicely wraps up all of their stories.

Everyone needs to go pick up this series!  I seriously couldn't put them down until I read all four books. ~Kendra

FL Jacob’s Bio

I am a mommy of two, wife to an amazing man, and full time employee. Life is crazy and busy!  I started writing again for a group of women I met last year. They brought back the passion for writing I haven’t seen since high school. Starting this process was tedious and nerve-wracking, but my amazing ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.

Teaser:
I turned the corner I ran right into the back of a man. "Oh, I'm sorry, excuse me," I said.

"No reason to be sorry," he yelled over the music, "it's so crowded in here you are hardly the first person to run into me tonight."

Looking up I was face to face with the most beautiful man I’d ever seen. He had the clearest silver blue eyes, dark black hair that was the perfect length to run your fingers through, and an angular jaw. He was tall and had great hands that were now resting on my arms. He was dressed in dark blue jeans and a white oxford with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His forearms were muscular and he had a leather cuff on his right wrist. I wanted to run my hands along his chest and through his hair. My legs felt weak looking into his eyes. The electrical current that ran through my body when he touched me sent a shiver through my body sending a pool of lust into my thong. I smiled shyly and tried to sneak past him.

"Hey, wait up," he said keeping a light hold on my elbow. He leaned down to my ear. "Can I at least know the name of the only person here who is as sober as I am?"

His breath felt cool on my hot neck and it made me shiver. I have never reacted like that to anyone. My mouth went dry as I thought about how I wanted to turn my head and kiss his delectable lips. Suddenly, I didn’t remember my own name.

"I'll go first," he said holding out his hand and giving me a smile that made me want to pass out. "I'm Caston. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Aubrey," I responded without taking his hand. "I really must go. Nice to meet you, Caston."

I quickly turned to leave before he said anything else. His smile made my insides quiver and I knew had to get out of there before Mark found me talking to another man or I did something I might regret.
I heard Caston return, but I was mesmerized by the night sky.  I was pulled out of my trance when I heard a click, click, click.  I panicked that the paparazzi had found us until I turned over on my stomach and Caston was standing a few feet behind me with a camera in front of him.

I smiled up at him.  “You scared me.”

A few more clicks of me on my stomach with my feet in the air.  He dropped the camera to his waist.  “I’m sorry, you’re too beautiful and this lighting is amazing tonight.”

He knelt down in front of me taking the wine glass from my hands.  Licking his lips he leans in for another kiss.  A pool of liquid drips into my panties.  Leaning further, he kisses that spot on my neck that makes me shiver.  I let out made a soft moan.  “Strip for me,” he whispers in my ear.

My breath hitches.  I sit back on my heels looking at him.  My nipples are pebbled and poking through my thin shirt.  I take my hand and remove my ponytail.  He picks up his camera and starts snapping away, as I shake my hair out.  It falls over my shoulders.  I look up at him with hooded eyes and bite my lip.  More clicking, but I heard a moan come from behind that camera.  I smiled ever so slightly, knowing I was turning him on.

 Excerpt #1 Chapter 2
Ryder

What is this girls name again?  Ah hell, she wants to feel special and I can’t even manage to remember her name.  Lauren, Lori, Laura, something like that, I think.  Brayden will find this entertaining once we arrive at the restaurant.  I text him to see if we can stop by for introductions, he said sure thin.  I am off to let some chick meet my roommate and best friend.  The things I do to get a new piece of ass.
Girls are raised with a misconception of prince charming coming to take away all of their problems.  Thing is, prince charming doesn’t exist in real life, that is why they are in fairy tales.  Like Cinderella’s step sisters trying to make the shoe fit, women can’t form men into a certain fit, the way they want.  When it’s right, the slipper will slide right on.  Always remember it’s made of glass so it must be handled with care.  That is the reality of love right there, when its right you still have to be gentle and take care of it in all of its fragile states.
Add to that the balance of Daddy/daughter relationships and men don’t stand a chance.  You will either find the Daddy’s girl who’s first love is her Dad.  These girls are confident.  They are in no rush to accept anything less than real emotion, real love because their Dad gave them that security.  The flip side to that are the ones with Daddy issues.  The woman whose dead beat Dad walked away without teaching them real love; only abandonment.  These girls are usually easy and are just looking for a connection in any way they can feel it.  Even if it’s just a fleeting moment, a rush, they want to feel love.  After a few heartbreaks, they become real man haters.
Either way, from childhood, most little girl’s dream of the day they find their forever in a man.  This makes it easy for them to fall for the many lines a hormone driven dude, such as myself, will give them.  They strive so much for that connection, that security, they will believe just about anything you say.  What they know to be a lie, they convince themselves that they can change in you.  Overcome the bad boy, change the player into a one woman man, surely they can love you enough to change you.  Love conquers all, after all, that’s what they are told from the time they are hosting pretend tea parties.
I am young still, not ready to be tied down or deal with the delicate nature of love and a serious relationship.  I do believe in love, commitment, and forever.  I just know that now is not the time in my life for such seriousness.  Until that day comes I want to taste the variety of women that exist in my world.
I have spent a week texting this chick, making her feel special.  It’s not enough though and she says she wants to meet my friends.  Really feel like she knows me.  I love a challenge so fine you can meet my friends.
We walk into the restaurant where Brayden is having dinner with Maggie, his girlfriend, and Dina her roommate.  As soon as we enter I feel a charge in the room.  I see her sitting with them and I am immediately consumed.  She is a magnet drawing me over to her.  Never have I felt an instant pull to someone, like this.
Dina is a downhome, gorgeous girl.  Her makeup is subtle, with natural looking hair, perhaps just some high lights she just carries a casual comfortable look.  To be honest, I would find her sexy in a paper bag.  She has on a black shirt that dips down just enough to hint at her cleavage.  She has curves, gorgeous curves in all the right places.  She is by no means a big girl, she is skinny, but with boobs and ass that are definitely enough for a man to enjoy.  Her flat stomach is calling out for me to run my hand up it to cup her very full breasts or down to her hips to slide around and scoop her luscious ass.  When she looks at me, I feel like she is looking directly into my soul.  The world seems to stop around us as I am pulled into Dina and everything that is her.
After we get beyond the hello’s some prick is manhandling my Dina out of her seat.  Whoa!  My Dina, where did that come from?  I don’t know why, but my adrenaline and instinct are now in overdrive.   I am burning with fire coursing through my veins.
Before any of us could react, they were gone.  Maggie is crying as Brayden is trying to quickly settle their check.  The blonde with me is grabbing at my arm.  I shake her off, leaving her there as I climb in Braydens car behind Maggie.
When we arrive at the apartment, Brayden escorts Maggie inside.  I stay out front searching for the prick so I can shove him around a bit.  Adrenaline, anger, disgust, rage, and an emotion I can’t manage to describe, all well up inside me.
Brayden comes out almost immediately.  The look on his face is horror and pure hatred.  My boy is a firecracker with a lit fuse about to blow.  The look on his face, his demeanor, it all sends me into overdrive.
Through gritted teeth, Brayden says, “His name is Michael and he’s roughed her up in the face.  Maggie swears this is the first time.  I don’t give a shit.  He needs to be taught a lesson.”
