Review of Sharing Harper by V Murphy

Sharing Harper is an awesome debut novel by V Murphy. Harper runs from Chicago to start a new life in San Diego. She’s been hurt time and time again and refuses to let herself love anyone or let anyone know about her past. Harper meets Ryder at the coffee shop where he works. There is an undeniable attraction but Harper doesn’t want to acknowledge it. They both have deep secrets that can either make or break them. I loved that this book was different in that Harper isn’t some naive girl. She is troubled and uses men and partying to numb herself. It was really well written and kept you interested and guessing until the very end, I couldn’t put it down. Definitely add this to your TBR list! ~Kendra

Review of Sometimes It Lasts by Abbi Glines

Book 5 in the Sea Breeze Series by Abbi Glines is brilliant as usual! Sometimes It Lasts is the continuation of Eva & Cage’s story. The prologue makes you think about what on earth could have gone so wrong to make Eva turn to Jeremy. I wasn’t sure I liked knowing that at the beginning, but it definitely got my attention and made me keep reading and I wasn’t disappointed. Make sure you read the entire series from the beginning so that you know all of the characters and how they are all intertwined. Sea Breeze is an amazing series and you will NOT be disappointed!! ~Kendra

Review of Cutting Deep by T.A. Anderson

18171450

Can Ande be a real life person because I think I just met my new best friend! Her smart alecky comments and her quick witty comebacks with keep you laughing. There was just the right amount of everything you could ask for in a novel-romance, friendship, heartbreak, sexual tension, the list goes on! I don't want to give too much away but I will say that I'm still torn where the book left off and can't wait to read the second book! I'm looking forward to making dinner tonight-who knew Olives were sexy?!

Review of Doreen by Leonardo Acebo

17701306

I was really looking forward to reading this book but once I started it I was disappointed. I was excited to meet a snarky, doesn't take crap from anyone character. Doreen is definitely that but what I didn't like was the interaction between her and her daughters. It was hard for me to read the disrespectful and rude way they interacted with one another and the illegal situations she put herself and most importantly her daughters. However, the writing is very descriptive and the characters come alive, which really pulled me into the story and the transformation that the characters make. The evolution of their relationships was very well written and I think was what ultimately won me over. I can honestly say that after a slow, less than enthusiastic start I couldn't put it down towards the end! I am also looking forward to the next one to see what other shenanigans they can get themselves into.

Review of Stealing Harper by Molly McAdams

Stealing Harper is heart wrenching! It’s the second book in the Taking Chances Series and written from Chase’s POV. You get to see the internal battle he dealt with trying to do what is best for Harper versus what is best for his heart. You know how it’s going to end, but you still can’t put it down because you are wishing for a different ending! After reading Taking Chances, you are going to absolutely LOVE Stealing Harper even if it breaks your heart. ~Kendra

Review of Taking Chances by Molly McAdams

I have never been so emotionally devastated by a book before. I was seriously shocked at one point and you will know what I’m talking about when you read it. Harper moves across the country for college to get a fresh start. She meets and falls for Brandon but she has a hard time fighting her feelings for her roommates’ bad boy brother Chase. I absolutely loved this book. It’s got to be one of my all-time favorites now. Are you Team Brandon or Team Chase? ~Kendra

Review of Real by Katy Evans

Real by Katy Evans. I rarely read books twice because there are so many good ones out there, but I just read this one again and I loved it even more than the first time! Brooke Dumas goes to an underground fight and catches the eye of Remington Riptide Tate. She ends up traveling with him to keep his body in top condition to win fights. He is a man of few words but they are able to speak to each other’s souls through music. The sexual tension is hot, hot, HOT! This is an absolute must read if you love a hot, sexy, tattooed man! I can’t wait for Mine, the next book in the series. Go read Real now! You won’t be disappointed! ~Kendra

Review of Burn by Maya Banks

Burn by Maya Banks is the final book in the Breathless Trilogy. If you loved the Stark Trilogy by J. Kenner and Fifty Shades of Gray by EL James, you will love the Breathless Trilogy! Ash, Gabe and Jace are 3 sexy self-made billionaires who know what they want when they see it and make sure they get it. Each book has that suspenseful edge because you just don’t know what is going to happen. A definite must read for anyone who loves a dominate billionaire! Alternating POVs so you get the full picture of each book. ~Kendra

Review of If You Stay by Courtney Cole

If You Stay by Courtney Cole gets you right from the beginning. Pax has a void that he tries to fill with drugs and women. Mila is a sweet girl with her own issues. Can these two come together and help each other? I loved their story. It was gritty and real and sweet but had so many unknowns that you have to keep reading to discover their pasts as the characters discover it for themselves. She wrote it with alternating POVs which makes the story even better! ~Kendra

Review of Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins

Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins is a blast from the past. We are so dependent on our smartphones and internet, that it is fun to go back and remember the good ole days. Whether you are 25, 45 or 65, you can remember what it was like to have posters out of magazines covering your walls. Writing actual letters to celebrities just hoping that they’ll send you an autographed photo. Everyone had that one singer they were obsessed with and you can completely put yourself in Sara’s shoes. This story was full of twists and turns that leave you saying “what?!” I loved this book. It just makes you happy thinking about your own teenage years. ~Kendra

Review of Emerge by S.E. Hall

Emerge by S.E. Hall is the first in her Evolve Series and it definitely deserves the 5 star rating! Laney and Evan have been best friends since they were 10, but each of them is accepted to different colleges, hours apart. Laney meets the intriguing and secretive Dane and immediately connects with him. There are twists and turns and the ending leaves you saying “OMG!”. A definite must read with alternating POVs. I can’t wait for the next book! ~Kendra

Review of Casse NaRome The Reborn

The Reborn was amazing! It was different from what I usually read but I'm glad I got the chance to join this blog tour. What would you do if you had 99 lives to perfect ur relationship with your soulmate?? Could you get it right? Dain has been through it all and still seems to not be able to get it right. This story is about 99 lives and the outcome of the odds being against Dain and Tara. Makes you wonder if you're living the same life meeting the same people? This books makes you think? After the first few chapters I hated Missy and wondered why things happen the way they do. This book will keep you wondering what will happen next and keep you on the edge of your seat. The question is will Dain and Tara get their happy ending? This is a must read! Don't miss out on this 5 star book go get yours and start reading!!! ~ Raquel

Review of Beautiful Liar by Glenna Maynard

I just finished Beautiful Liar by Glenna Maynard and it was AMAZING!! This is book 2 in The Masquerade Series and the best so far! Darby makes a hard decision and leaves Brody, the love of her life, so that he can pursue his dreams and not end up stuck in their small town. Darby moves to Miami and meets Turner, the manager of The Masquerade Club where she starts working. Darby goes through so many emotions trying to figure out her life. It is a very sweet story, but have the tissues nearby! I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend you go get your copy now! ~Kendra

Review of Blackened Heart by Glenna Maynard

Blackened Heart by Glenna Maynard is a companion Novella to Beautiful Strangers. It is written from Jaxson’s POV, which I love! I don’t want to give any spoilers away if you haven’t read Beautiful Strangers yet, but this book takes place the week after Gracie’s story ends and follows Jax on tour with Sadie Blake who is the other half of their country music duo Blackened Sunrise. You really don’t know how things will turn out until the end, so it keeps you interested and I read it easily in one sitting. If you’ve read Beautiful Strangers, you definitely want to read Blackened Heart! ~Kendra

Review of Beautiful Strangers by Glenna Maynard

Beautiful Strangers by Glenna Maynard was a little bit more hard core than your typical New Adult Romance. Sex, drugs, music and a love triangle. Gracie isn’t a goodie-two-shoes. She has a drug problem and has a troubled past that collides with her future. She can’t decide if she should forgive her past hurts or if she should just cut her losses and move forward. There are some unexpected twists that keep you interested, but I felt the story was a little rushed. The grammar errors annoyed me, but overall this was a pretty good book! ~Kendra

Review of Effortless With You by Lizzy Charles

I first just have to say go get this book immediately! If you want a light fun romantic read this is it! It is a YA but I'm sucker for those :) I LOVED it- staying up til 2:00 in the morning to finish is proof enough! The main character is Lucy and you immediately come to care about her. She is someone you can sympathize with and relate to...let's be honest we ALL have some unfavorable high school memories. What I loved about this is that the emotions are believable-i rememeber feeling some of the same things she does while I was in high school. What else I loved was the growth you watch her take throughout the book. The writing is perfect and I cannot recommend this book more. It is in the top 5 of the ones I've read this summer! Do yourself a favor and go get it! Lizzy Charles is one of my new favorite authors! Can't wait to see what else she comes out with!~ Leslie A

Review of Sarah Goodman's Life's Perfect Plan

Wow Sarah Goodman's debut novel comes out swinging! I am a romance lover but when everything seems too perfect things can get boring and unbelievable. I could relate with every single character in some aspect. The writing was really well done and you came to know and care for each and everyone of the characters. So much so that I can't wait for the next book in the series so that I can get to know some of them even better. This novel really shows you that life doesn't always go according to your plans and that you need to enjoy each day as it comes. I was laughing, crying, and then laughing again! It was an fun rollercoaster, in a the best way possible, that I would gladly go on again! (....and probably will :) )~ Leslie A

Review of Fearless by Devon Hartford

I just finished Fearless and it was so good! I haven’t read many books like this by male authors, but Devon did a great job writing Samantha’s story. She moved to San Diego from DC for college and a new beginning. I enjoyed the progression of Adonis and Sam’s relationship, it was much more realistic than the love-at-first-sight stories we read so often. I liked her small group of friends. They were interesting and added comic relief. I think the struggle between being what her parents want her to be versus her actual wants and dreams is a real conflict that a lot of people can relate to. Samantha had a tragic event happen in her past that follows her to her new life. At times, I just wanted her to spit it out so we knew what happened to her, but it was totally worth the wait! This book had me laughing, frustrated, tearing up and happy. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to see how things progress and if that past mistake catches up to her again. ~Kendra

Review of Ink: Fine Lines by Bella Roccaforte

Just finished this book and I really enjoyed it! I was pulled in from the beginning! The multi person POV was interesting and well done. Each character had their own voice and point of view. The one thing I didn't particularly care for was how easily Shay changed her emotions. She seemed so flippant in regards to her feelings and the situation at hand. I also didn't care for her being so wrapped up in her comic given the horrific events happening around her. But all in all I enjoyed the writing style and am excited for the next book! I'm excited for this start to a new good original paranormal series! Warning it does leave you in a cliffhanger! ~ Leslie A
