All Keegan wanted was a roommate who was quiet, minded their own business, and paid for part of the rent. Instead, she got Camden Brooks.
Camden, with his sinful body, sharp tongue, and the inability to stay out of Keegan’s personal business, couldn’t seem to curb his interest in the new girl who wouldn’t put up with his domineering ways.
Feelings were running rampant, sexual tension was thick, and both were struggling to let go of control.
To some people, getting a roommate simply meant living with another person. But to both Camden and Keegan it was a curveball that neither was prepared to swing at.
5 Amazing Grand Slam Stars
Ahhh, swoon! I want a Brooks boy for myself! Totally hot and definitely all alpha male goodness. And there's FOUR of them! What could be better?!?! Bender will take you on a wild and wonderful ride that you will not regret getting on and never want to get off.
We begin Bender with Keegan finally deciding that she needs to move out of her Mom's house. I was SO proud of her in this moment, she finally made the move to stand up to her Mom. But before she can move out, she has to find a roommate. After a couple of less than desirable visits to possible roomies, she ends up at an apartment that definitely has to be too good to be true. An awesome apartment, affordable rent, a hot guy who is super nice, what more could a girl want, but there HAS to be a catch right?!? Enter the catch... Camden Brooks, brother of said super nice hot guy and owner of the apartment. Total alpha male, moody, domineering, rude, and always digging into Keegan's personal business. But boy is he hot, and definitely easy on the eyes with his chiseled body!
I LOVED watching Keegan and Camden's relationship develop, and the little glimpses we got of Camden's "softer" side were totally worth all of the crap he put Keegan through. Camden was always so hot and cold toward Keegan that you never knew what you were going to get when he entered a scene. The anticipation kept you on the edge of your seat. And don't get me started on the sexual tension! It was literally oozing off the pages and when that tension finally snapped... OMG!
And not only were the main characters wonderful, the supporting characters were just as great. Dodger, you can't help but absolutely love him. I loved that he was always there for Keegan and he definitely provided some comedic relief at times. And Macie, who wouldn't love Macie?!? I want her as my best friend! I loved her attitude towards everything and definitely enjoyed her interactions with Dodger.
Bender is definitely one of my top reads of 2014 and possibly on the list of my favorites of all time! I can't wait for more Brooks boys in The Core Four series. Stacy, can I have the next book now please?!?!
