This was a bit of different read for me... it was interesting, to say the least! Even though the last thing I'd described myself as being is the type of woman that's peace-loving and willing to turn the other cheek when confronted with a mega biotch, like our heroine Amy would choose to do when dealing with her nemesis, Jane, I will at least admit to admiring Amy's positive outlook on life and quirky personality. I'm actually surprised to find that I liked Amy more than I would have initially thought. I guess most of us, myself included, ultimately find it difficult to dislike someone that's so optimistic and lives a life of freedom and vitality; even if at times she could come off just a tad pretentious about the whole "live green & protect Mother Earth" and her penchant of tossing out large vocabulary words came off a bit snarky at times.
Still, I enjoyed Amy's choice to stand up for herself to the bullying she endured with co-workers and that she was able to find a loving relationship that brought so much joy in her life. So, all in all... this was quite a fun and groovy read for me.
