I was a little concerned when I was asked to read this book as I have never been a lover of MC books, however, this book was slightly different from the MC books I've previously read as it wasn't all about drugs and violence, although it had just enough of this to keep the genre real. This MC club had made vows to stay on the right side of the tracks (on the whole) Nix, the president falls in love with his sons elementary school teacher. But nothing can ever be that straightforward. They have a lot to overcome if they want to be together. Kandence is a real strong and sassy woman who has become who she is today after nearly dying earlier in her life. She can certainly give Nix and his crew a mouthful of sass and can keep them in line. I am already looking forward to the next book in this series. I hope it will answer some of my questions??? I give this book 5 stars~~ Rosie
